The service I have received from Blink has been outstanding from my first visit but I was even more impressed when recently I broke my glasses and phoned in despair on Good Friday from a Scottish island, with the country in lockdown and no possibility returning to London for several weeks. New spectacles were made up that day and I received them following Tuesday! I would definitely recommend Blink.

 I first came upon Nileash and Justin at the Bright and cheerful ‘Blink opticians’ in East Sheen during the second Lockdown in 2020. Grey and dismal days they brought kindness and light into my life. I was rather down on my luck having joined the ranks of the unemployed, doing the same walk day-in day-out when one day I walked in and asked if they wouldn’t mind tightening up my frames which were loose. Not only did they fix my frames they would not accept any payment, I was absolutely struck down by their kindness because they did it once more and still would not accept a token fee and it really cheered me up that people could be so nice in ‘hard times’, these events stay with you. I made my mind up that when I would get the job I would go back and seek their services. 

Thankfully, the right job came in for me and I was able to book my appointment for any eye test with Nilesh. Justin worked out the payment and explained every detail to me, with no hidden costs or add ons, a very fair transaction I felt. I purchased two pair of bifocals with grey transition for sunlight in case I lost a pair and one pair just for reading which I felt I needed. The Blink lenses have given me new eyes, I have crystal clear vision now. There was no sales pitch involved what so ever from Nilesh or Justin, this is how I like to be prepared in case of loss and this was my request. They even posted my second pair of bifocals to my new address out of London. These men are exceptional in their services and I completely recommend Blink Opticians unreservedly. Nilesh and Justin are just good people and will do everything to make sure you are totally taken care of and delighted with the end result.

 In the middle of lock down I lost my glasses in a stream in Richmond Park. I could barely see. Nilesh of Blink Optics came to the rescue by setting me up with two new sets of glasses. He opened up his shop specially for me and he really helped me out.
